Clip to ScrapBook
I've been posting here on and off for a few years now and every so often we seem to get a rash of responses that are over-reacting or actually posted to get a rise out of us. And eventually we learn our lesson and ignore
those posters and they tend to move on.

I think there is a huge difference with disagreeing with someone in a vent and being insulting. And we all come from different walks of life and experiences and we should keep that in mind.

Also keeping in mind - not everyone who posts here is a teacher. Since it is an open board anyone can post and there have been times where it is obvious

the posting and/or responses have not been from teachers. And sometimes we have to be the grown-ups and just walk away from a "fight" even when it is irritating to do so. There are some who cannot be moved off their positions and it's not worth the battle to try to force them to change their viewpoints. I'm sure we've all been at both ends on some issues.

But hopefully people still feel they can Vent and share their frustrations and if things are misread or misinterrepted we all have the ability to move on.
