I have been jerked around with the aide situation for 2 years now. Finially this year I just quit trying to do everything (plus I am pregnant and can not chase and restrain my kids) I just started calling the office everytime I needed help- after one of my kids attacked the vice principal and trashed her office I had a full time aide the next day!I don't know how your school is but at mine it seems like the admin. doesn't even know where our classrooms are let alone what goes on in them. I think that when they see some of the situations we deal with day in and day out they are a little more sympathetic to my kids needs.
