This note is for Kelly, from Kelly...in your note you say thatin the future the kids will be living with consquences of "our mistakes".
I really don't agree with you at all....they will be living the consquences of THEIR mistakes...we, as teachers, can try our best to guide them, but it takes a village to raise a child, and if the parents/family, school adminstration and board of ed in general are failing these kids, (which I have witnessed first hand) then the poor child is the one that suffers...the entire responsibility of the kids lives unfairly CANNOT be placed on OUR shoulders...
