Bryan Adams has a song (Remembrance Day) from Into the Fire 1987.

And there are other songs that would work well to with the project below.

Any type of song about peace for example.

Our grade 4's played Bette Midler's From a Distance last year for this project.

Earlier in the week they drew pictures on overhead transparancies of things they felt represented peace in their world. These overheads where then shown as the song was played and the students entered the gym carrying candles. It was very unique and easy to organize.
