Questions for Lurker and Lainy
By a fellow teacher

Clip to ScrapBook
Lurker and Lainy,
I don't understand why you feel the need to be so harsh with Eric. He may do things in a way you aren't in agreement with, but it doesn't give you the right to tell him where to post on this board in
order to keep things organized. Nor does it give you the right to tell him you've been more than patient with him. If you don't feel your advice can help Eric, then why don't you refrain from posting? He has posted about both good days and bad days, yet telling him that he hasn't any idea how to be a guest teacher is a little nasty. Experience will help him to develop those skills. Encouragement
goes further than criticism--NONE of us are experts at what we do. Advice can be accepted or ignored, but dispensing it doesn't give us the right to act superior over others. Sorry--I know I am offending some, but I just don't feel that "cutting Eric down" is appropriate--this board is for support and advice.
