I don't see where the original poster said anything out of line. You still have the terms LD and MR that are used regularly. You were very hasty in your reply to make the remarks that you did in your first post. It | is clear that this teacher didn't know what to call it and in her other vent(I didn't find a lot of vents like you implied) she even apologized. You said "we" which includes yourself had asked her not to say that word. You didn't even post on that vent. So I'm confused why you reacted to this teacher with almost hostility to say she was in no state to deal with these children. Did I miss | |
something? She seemed like she needed help as we ALL do at times. If I'm correct, she isn't even certified in sped so clearly she would not be up to speed on all the terminology but she is trying to do her best. There was nothing degrading or derogatory in her post......Just wondering......
