"Help's" vent gave me pause, that's all. I'm wondering if we're more focused on the student and his/her problems than the subject(s) we're teaching. This can cause US more frustration because the bad behavior of students is sucking the life out of us---and we can't "fix it."

Also, the more student centered we are, could we be cultivating their "me-ism"?

Just thinking here and trying to figure it out.
