Bravo to you Angie. I'm debating about that move myself. I've been subbing in elementary school for a few weeks and I want to try the older grades too. I'm a little hesitant because of the stories I hear. I think everybody has a different level of tolerance and some people love the middleschool aged kids and can't handle the elementary age. I personally like 5th grade because they seem to be a bit more independent. I know the hormones in middleschool are a'ragin', but it will probable be fun! I've been told that the highschool kids are great and if you have trouble, send them to the principle's office. I hear mixed reviews so I'll have to see for myself. One day soon I'll brave the middle/highshool levels as well. Keep me posted on how things go for you.
