Mentor teacher not prepared

In my experience, that has not yet happened to me. I can sympathize with you. It is diffcult. We rely on the teachers to help and guide us. That is their job. When they fail to do their job, we fail at ours. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Let it go, but try to learn something from the experience.
