Native American Unit

Check out your local library for some great native american stories to tell. Some are easy to memorize. Try memorizing one and telling it with enthusiasm in your own words. The kids love it!!! There's a great one about how the birds got their feathers, one about daytime/nighttime, one about the opossum's tail, and one about a race between the bear and a little water turtle. Have fun!
