Parent's Day Soc. Studies
By Kathy

Clip to ScrapBook
You could have the parents bring in something they saved from their childhood (ex. toy, scrapbook, game, magazine) and have a parent show & tell to discuss past decades tying in with Soc. Studies. Or you could ask the parents to share a family heirloom or small antique & have the kids guess its name or its purpose. Our class did this a few years ago & it was a great history lesson.
