stars
By Laura

Clip to ScrapBook
To incorporate social studies aspect, the study of stars has been in every culture. There are great stories about how the stars got into the sky in every culture. I particularly like african and native american tales. Those stories could be read and develop activities to go with them. Also how people used stars in other countries for travel, to understand people (zodiac) etc.

I do have to ask, do you actually have a social studies class for your four year olds? Or are you just pulling together some activities in different content areas?
