spacy kids
By michele-OR

Clip to ScrapBook
I have tried timers with a few of my kids who had trouble keeping on task, it seemed to help keep them focused on what they needed to do.

I also have a boy with severe ADHD and last year we gave him a little rubber brain toy to squeeze in his hand while he is working. I don't know why, but he is able of staying on task a whole lot longer when he is using his 'brain'.

I have also sent kids into the hall or an empty room to work. They were being distracted by other kids working. They spent alot of time checking out how far the other kids were, and not enough doing their own work.

Hope I helped a little
Michele
