Ugh! APA By Jill

I agree totally. I just returned from a APA training workshop and felt nothing but overwelmed. Like we have nothing else to do with our time. Aside from taking each and every lesson and modifing it to meet all the individual needs of these students, we also need to add this very detailed and time consuming state test to the mix. I ask u this, who exactly is this test testing? If the student does not meet the selected standard, who is at fault? The teacher I would say since we did alllll this interventions to get them to meet the standard. Well, these r just my personal thoughts. I say there HAS to be an easier way to do this. The people dictating this...have they ever been in a special education room or worked with the chidren?
