how to play sparkle
By olivia

Clip to ScrapBook
have the kids line up along a wall in your classroom. you give a spelling word, such as obvious. one child will say o, the next will say b, and so on as they go down the line. when the last child says s, the next child will say sparkle. the signals the end of the word and the child next to him will have to sit down...winner is the last one standing and he/she has to spell the whole word correctly in order to win!

BUT - do not repeat the letters that have already been said. part of the game is working on listening skills. it's a fun game, because no one wants to get out, but they enjoy getting each other out. hope this makes sense! good luck and have fun playing.
