as the above poster stated make sure you take the proper steps to help this boy....have you talked to your principal, the social worker, the grandfather? Called a meeting with all of the above to problem solve? you
never know living with the parents may be 100 times worse than living with the grandfather...
my sister has custody of her grandson and if you were to meet the mom you'd question why this is happening....mom seems pretty sharp, college educated, a merit scholarship winner in high school,top in 10 ten in her class, clean and neat, keeps an ok house.....and told her mom if she didn't take

custody of the grandson she was giving him to foster care...she didn't want him and wasn't going to care for him any longer....she hates her kid....so who's to say which placement is better for your little guy? Get all the facts....maybe there is a community support program that can help grandfather parent this child....
