Check With The districts
By Julie P

Clip to ScrapBook
I'm not really sure how many district do this, but the one I attended kept a list of tutors on file at the administrative office. Anyone could sign up, and then parents who needed a tutor could ask a counselor , teacher, or principal, and they would be given a list of district tutors. That is actually how I made extra money while in college. Call area school districts and see if they have a similar program.

You may also want to try making fliers and giving them to school counselors. This is most effective if you can set up an appointment to meet with the counselor so that he/she can get to know you. The counselor knows which students need help, and are the main person to make recommendations to parents or teachers.
