multicultural day

our school used to have a year long study of a different country-I always choose usa-native americans. we learned about a certain nation or tribe-souix was very interesting-then we learned songs, dances, tons of art activties, speakers, and experimented with food. i found most of my materials on the internet. type in multicultural lessons. if this is an ongoing unit, you might consider taking pictures of the students doing activities which you can use to make a classroom scrapbook.
