An issue?!

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi,
I know children seem to love the toilets, my Yr Ones are often in awe of the size of the room... but as for teachers allowing passes etc--- I can't really understand why you as a teacher can't just say no??!! Otherwise
giving out passes is just another job we do. Children yes, will avoid work by asking to go outside, but! Is your toilet a long way from your classroom? Or is it for security measures? If I have a request from the kids to go to the loo during a session (usually 1 and 3/4 hrs long each), they must go singularly, but I mostly just say no.. or at least "not at the moment please, I'm
teaching".
They know to go when the bell rings, even just 'incase'.. I've never had any accidents. If my student goes, they are always back in a flash! Luckily- maybe??, I'd never consider giving passes in any grade at my school....
