Hate Being Bored Too

I had this very same situation today. I took an assignment at a residential treatment center that the district I work for runs. They provide drug and alcohol treatments for 6th - 12th graders and I thought I would like| this since my degree is in this area. However, when I got there I was given a brief rundown in where I was told that I basically just had to be in the room while the classes watched a job skill video. But I couldn't discipline the students as that is why a probation officer is assigned to each class and that person is supposed to watch the discipline issues. I was bored to death...plus | |
had to watch the same boring video 7 different times. So basically I got paid to rewind and play a video.At least for the remainder of the week, I will be at the high school. Guaranteed to be excitement there!!!
