Pat, it is always nice to hear from others who are struggling with their students. Not that anyone should struggle, but the support helps and perhaps something that has worked for you in the past can work for me. I really like the stopwatch idea and ignoring those students who call out the answers. I actually tried both of those approaches today and was more successful with the stopwatch method. It's really hard to ignore students, especially when they are always coming up to you while you're in the middle of a lesson... Thank you for your advice, Sasha.
