I would have a serious discussion with the principal and tell him/her your dilemma. I would stress how much you would REALLY want teach and ask about the realistic possibility that this will lead somewhere. Hopefully you will talk with someone who can give you an honest answer. Your husband has a realistic point about a secure paycheck and benefits. Good luck you have a very hard choice. Sue
