We have a "Student of the Week" program set up in our school. Every class has a student of the week. When a student is selected on Friday for the upcoming week, I send home an "All About Me" bag to fill over the weekend. The things must fit in the bag. We have a designated area of the room where the student can display his/her stuff. That way, there is really no explanation time needed and the student feels good about sharing. Hope it helps.
