halloween

I have a child who is a Johavah's Witness. Same situation. Instead of Halloween we look at pumpkins as being seasonal. This Friday, we are having a pumpkin decorating contest. Students will work cooperatively to design the best pumpkin. We'll incorporate math problem solving and the kids will create a contest for voting. We'll graph results, etc. No mention of Halloween was sent home in the flyers. Pumpkins are autumn related!
