To "Down Under to the Right"

Hello! You addressed exactly what I was curious about -- maps! I was wondering whether you use Mercator projection maps (where Germany is at the center of the universe) or others. Anything you can tell me about the maps you use and HOW you use them and talk about them will be enormously appreciated. Are the Peters projection (which I understand is very looked down upon by many cartographers) and/or others or talked about where you are? -- Susan
