I am praying for you. I had a tough group my first year teaching too. There is a lot of good advice here, and I am going to try some of the sugesstions myself. This is my third year teaching and I have a class that is testing my limits every day too. Separately, these are good kids, but together, some of them can be quite a handful. This board is great for ideas, and there are a lot of super teacher sites with ideas too. Make friends with some seasoned teachers at your school and see if your principal will send you to some discipline and classroom management courses. Best wishes
