We had the same problem. Perhaps before recess sit the kids down and go over rules for the kickball games. These bosses will be the first to state all the rules. State the amount of time given for recess. Tell them when you see the rules being broken you will take the ball away from the students that are misusing it. Also if they get rough you can sit the guilty ones out of their game. Let the kids that are playing nicely continue.
