Clip to ScrapBook
I teach 4th grade and I had this same type of problem when I had the daughter of one of our board members in my class. This lady made my life hell for a year. She went so far as changing the school policy on homework because she felt that kids should have choices when given homework assignments. So instead of giving my whole class spelling sentences to write, I had to give them a list of 10-15 different things that they could do with their spelling words and each child could decide for themselves which one they wanted to do. It made checking homework a living hell. what ever happened to homework being an extension of what the kids are learning in class?
