Show and tell

Hi I really don't like show and tell either but here is what I do to make it quick and fun. It is important to give children speaking for a purpose and in front of an audience.
Use the 5 w's (each child will have the same day all year.. I do Tues, wed, and thurs.)
What is your sharing item?
When did you get it?
Who did you get it frrom?
Where did you get it? (a gift, etc.)
Why is it important or special to youseems to move right along and it works
