Clip to ScrapBook
i live to be wacky and dress up! just give me a reason--doesn't even have to be a good one! this year i will be professor mcgonagal (sp?!) because my two children will be harry potter and ron weasley--homemade costumes,
not store-bought. making the costumes is all part of the fun! 2 years ago, my children were 2 of the 101 dalmatians--since halloween (or the day we had the party at school, anyway) was on daddy's day off, he brought them to school to parade around with me. (i was cruella deville.) costumes made with hot glue--no sewing involved! that was a major achievement!

i teach 6th grade, by

the way. other "things" i've been--mother nature--green clothes with fake birds, ivy, bugs hot glued on--gotta love that hot glue!

i've also been a crazy chef (got this one from a colleague) get a chef's hat and coat filthy, rat sticking out of pocket, pin on some flies and cockroaches--voila!

spider queen was a hit--long velvety black dress, hose with spider webs painted on, hair piled up, cobwebs dripping from everywhere, spiders pinned on, stuck in hair, glued on face.
