Oregon Columbus Day

The State Wide Professional Day is an unpaid day in my district. However, I have been told by teachers who have taught in my district for years that it was once a paid day where they had to go to an inservice of some kind. (This is my third year of teaching, so I wasn't around when teachers in my district had to do that!)
