Get your OT or PTs help
By Sixtiesbabe

Clip to ScrapBook
Your district OT or COTA would be a great resource! They all ready work with your student and are trained in this area. If you do not have an OT, ask the PT if you could meet with him or her, look through their cataloges, etc.
I do not know your students or their grade level.
Here are a few things that I have used with my students:
Sensory Table- rice, beans, sand, water, cornmeal, etc.
Tactile balls
Plastic bin with items of different touches
(soft, rough, smooth, bumpy, squeezable, etc)
Tactile puzzles
Walking across a giant sheet of bubble wrap barefoot, etc. I hope this helps!
