k4 report cards

I have report cards for my k4 class. I am also teaching in a private school, parents want to see what is up with there child, esp. since they are paying $$ for your school.

I am very low key about grades. Here is our scale

+
= Excellant, above average
S+ = Some what above average
S = Average
S- = Slighty below average
U (or N) Unsatifactory, or Needs improvment.
I used this scale for both academic and "social" behaviors on my card.
I grade in these areas
Bible memorization (one short verse per week)
Poetry -one poem a month memorized
Phonics - can recite letters learned and

sounds
Numbers - can recognize numbers learned, and count up to a certain number ( ie 1-10, or 1-20)

For social, I grade in these areas
Obedient
cooperative
respectful of others persons and property
responsible
"plays well with others" (not the wording, but I don't have the card with me right now)

We print this up on half sheets of card stock, double sided, academics on one side, social on the other. all four quarters fit on a half sheet.
