teaching reading

Clip to ScrapBook
one of the best books I have used for myself is.
"Teaching your child to read in 100 lessons"

It is a very simple phonic approach, and will allow you to take the task in small steps.

I use a phonic based program in my class, at the end of the year, my 4yo's will be reading small short vowel stories. Some will even be picking up the long vowel/silent 'e' rule too!

you can email me for more info if you want.
