Writer's Workshop

If you don't already have a copy, please go out and buy Craft Lessons by Ralph Fletcher, along with any other book by Ralph Fletcher. His books are written in a friendly fashion and give you quick ideas to implement an effective writers' workshop in your classroom. I have WW 4 days / week in my classroom for 45 minutes each session. I start with a mini lesson teaching a "craft" associated with the 5 domains of writing, then the students write, and then we end with a share, and hopefully several teachable moments.
