Thanksgiving in Canada

Basically our Thanksgiving is very similar to Thanksgiving in the States except for a few differences. The main difference is the date. We always celebrate our Thanksgiving in October. As well our Thanksgiving is not based
on the same history as that of the U.S.

On a personal note I have noticed that Thanksgiving in the States seems to be a much larger holiday than it is in Canada. For many of us Christmas would be the "bigger" holiday.
