Fun Brain By Cathy-Dee

I only played with the quiz lab on a trial basis but it was definitely not difficult to work with. My problem is that I teach grade 1 and by the time they reach the stage where they could use the program it is later in the| year and I'm often too busy with other things. You would most likely have to give your credit card number but I do this on a regular basis and have never had a problem. You'll be a secure site (you'll notice a little lock on your lower right screen). I guess the main concern I'd have is with your computer system in your school. Although we have a great lab, if we try to put more | | than 2 or 3 students on the internet at one time it slows down tremendously. A whole class would never get on during one class. So if this is not an issue then I would think the quiz lab would be a neat way for you to quiz your students. If I remember correctly the quizzes are designed as yes or no or pick one answer type of questions (not written answers) so it's not so much that Fun Brain corrects them, but that the program knows the correct answer because you've told them through the initial set-up what the correct answer will be. Is there a trial period? If so you might want to try it out for a week and see how you find making the quizzes and so on.
