Teepee
By rotaha

Clip to ScrapBook
I bought four long thin strips of wood - like the kind used for molding (about 8 feet long, I think.) I asked the cafeteria to save 4 of the large cans that are used for beans, corn, etc. I put the poles in the cans & then filled the cans with stones. We made the walls by drawing in Indian picture writing on white sheets. I wrapped the sheets around the poles and secured them with safety pins and rubber bands. The children would go inside and read stories about Native Americans.
