I feel for you. You are frustrated because of the unfairness. Why does the other have only 16??Why couldn't they be split more evenly? You also are depressed because you can't give to these little ones the attention they
need. My advise is to find some parent volunteers that can help you out. Send home a letter requesting help. These folks can be a blessing. Perhaps a grandparent can help. Perhaps parents can do things at home for you. All this can cost extra time in the beginning but once you enlist them you can at least be able to go to the bathroom when you need to. When I began doing this
many years ago the parents were on the principal's back to get me an aide and it worked. I still have parents along with the aide. You have to feel comfortable with having people in your room but when you are both busy there's no time to feel shy. It's also a nice treat for the parents to see their children in action at school.
