Title 1

I teach at a Title 1 school and one of the other replies gave you a good definition of what Title 1 is but when you say that a child qualifies for Title 1 math or reading, someone is most likely referring to a specific program that is funded by Title 1 or just remedial services funded by the program. Often an extra Reading or Math lab in addition to the regular classroom instruction.
