we are a rich district with 2 title I schools

we are a Title I school in an affluent school district and it's tough because expectations in our district are very high and in Michigan test scores count towards money! and Title I schools in Michigan must improve by %'s each year....so it's a lot of pressure on the teachers to have their students do well on the MEAP ....scores are published in the paper for all to see which schools are "failing" and which aren't.we use our money for class size reduction teachers...
