diff. instruction By jm

This is a hot topic in my district. We have had several faculty meetings devoted to this topic. We are expected to show diff. instruction during our observations by the administrators. You are correct, it is interesting, but it can also be very time consuming. We are not necessarily expected to give the children choices but rather take into consideration, various instructional levels which will challenge and or support the students needs. There are two schools of thought on diff. instruction either using Blooms Taxonomy or Gardners Multiple Intelligence. Some of us had some concerns about the lower achieving students and their progress and ability to succeed on state mandated tests if we continually teach them on "their level".
