I'm lucky too! I teach 4th grade with 33 students. I teach at a new school and it seems kids are coming out of the woodwork. It seems like everyone wants their kid at a new school but fail to realize that it is the class size that really makes the difference. Sometimes I feel sooo overwhelmed (4th year teaching)and I go home feeling like all I did for the day was manage kids. I hardly feel like a "teacher"! I feel more like a manager. I had 26 kids last a year and it was a HUGE difference. It was one less table! ARGH!!!!! It's stuff like this that causes new teachers to move into different professions. Sad but very, very true!!!
