    Why Arizona doesn't change

My friend in Phoenix told me the reason Arizona doesn't change to daylight savings time:

Daylight savings time is intended to give us an additional hour of daylight at the end of the day so people don't use as much electricity and so they can stay outside playing longer (according to my friend). Southern Arizona temperatures soar into the 100's all summer. They don't WANT another hour of daylight. They're all just sitting around in their air conditioned houses WAITING for the sun to go down! Don't know if that's the real reason, but I thought it was kinda funny and also true.
