I teach in a VERY small school. I have 8 students but they are in grades K, 2, 4, and 5. I am able to get to them more than I was when I taught in a large school, but I have four times the planning. I feel like I run around like a chicken with my head cut off all day long. (no preps and no lunch breaks.)I also see that the kids get on each other's nerves more often. they act like brothers and sisters. Sometimes it's more of a headache then a blessing. Every teaching situation has its ups and downs.
