I have recently started to just make really small goals for myself each day. Rather than making a huge "to do" list for that day, I just set aside 2-4 important things to do. This has made me just try to get through that particular day and not look at the next day, which makes me overwhelmed. I also feel like I leave no time for myself to just go sit at my desk and "not teach". Give yourself time each day to "gather yourself". Have something planned for the students to do so you can sit and relax for a few minutes each day. (in Kindergarten they should be able to even have "structured free time". -- drawing, looking at books, workshops, etc. This seems to help me when I need those spare minutes during the day to just recooperate. And of course make time for yourself at night. I always have so much to do each night, but some nights just going for a quick cup of coffee with a friend or spouse makes the world of difference. Be encouraged!! ![]()
