Know how you feel

I have subbed in several schools in my district and there has been only one where I felt welcomed. The other schools were extremely "cold". It was almost like you were invisible. Not even the principal acknowledged my presence. I am a very friendly kind of person who greets everyone. I am in a long term sub position now and the "real" teachers pass you by without a word. I have to remember that I am there for the kids not the adults.
