Writing idea
By Jane

Clip to ScrapBook
I have my children write a letter to the parent telling them information about our classroom and asking them to notice certain things. Some of the students ask how their 5th grade classroom was different from theirs. Likes and dislikes, favorite things about the class and difficulties are also included.
I then ask the parents to write back to their child and you should see the students' faces light up when they read the letters the next morning!!
