You may be in the same position I am in if you did not sub last year. I applied to 4 districts this year and hope too that I will be working everyday. So what's the problem? You must be approved by the school board and they do not meet until the end of the month. One of my schools meets tonight, yay! and the others meet next week... All my paperwork has been in for a month and I am ready to work but I cannot officially be placed on these lists until those meetings. I wish someone had told me this in August because I could have found temp. work for Sept. You might want to call and find out if this is true for the districts you applied to.
