My district has used subfinder for several years. I've only experienced a few glitches in it on the past couple of years (I got requested for a custodian job the other day). It really is a better system than hand-calling. You can call at any time and pick up jobs before it starts calling out for subs. Our's calls from 5am to 10am and from 5pm to 10pm so if a teacher calls off after 10pm, you can pick up that job before it goes out to someone else.

It cuts down on the early morning calls that way, although I do still get them every once in a while. I call before I go to bed at 11pm and usually can get a job. My sister used to set her alarm to go off at 4:45 am and she checked for jobs then went back to sleep for a couple of hours.

I'm sure you'll get used to it real quick. I don't even listen to the menus anymore. (Which messed me up when we upgraded and they added a couple of new features).

Give it a go, you'll like it.
